Welcome to Garbage Weekend. It’s the internet garbage you know and love, but in a format that’s easier to read while you wait for more deliciously bad Tesla news to arrive.

This week, President Trump signed an executive order shutting down the Department of Education (his little desk pictured above). If you want a preview of what comes next, look at the US Agency for International Development (USAID), which an internal memo says will be reborn on the blockchain. Oh good. All fixed. Fans of unnecessary extra steps for the sake of Cool Computer are eating good right now — literally, since Taco Bell plans to take your order with AI. Just make sure the computer isn’t too cool, or you might be blocked from entering the US if the TSA doesn’t like your texts. But it’s hard to figure out what the government likes these days, since the Tesla dealership (formerly known as the Executive Branch) is now recalling almost every Cybertruck.
