This week, suspected UnitedHealthcare CEO assassin Luigi Mangione released — via independent journalist Ken Klippenstein — a more concise statement on his actions than hundreds of journalists, who are using all that extra space to call the CEO a working-class hero and divine the digital entrails of Mangione’s web presence. Some journalists are still paid by the word, folks. If you want something snappier, check out Hot Ones presented by George Soros, who bought the YouTube sensation to help its former owners at BuzzFeed avoid a takeover by Vivek Ramaswamy. Can digital media be saved by putting The Last Dab on it? Well, it’s probably too late to help TikTok, which the US government is still working hard to ban. That also might true of the polio vaccine, unfortunately.
Oh well, here’s some fun stuff…
