Welcome to Garbage Weekend. It’s the internet garbage you know and love, but in a format that’s easier to read while you remember how short February is.

This week, the Trump administration’s latest recruits include America’s strongest podcasters. It’s too early to tell whether that includes alleged sex trafficker and center of the manosphere Andrew Tate, who’s staying in the country. Maybe he’s here to train FBI agents in self-defense! Podcasts could be an undervalued avenue for bipartisan consensus, though — just ask California Governor Gavin Newsom, who’s starting his own. At least they’re a better way to spread information than X, the everything app, where an official GOP account rickrolled people looking for the Epstein files. And if you enjoy 15-year-old memes, get excited for Shrek 5 with Zendaya!
